The Hooters International Pageant has seen many new changes and facilitations and the world expansion have brought in new interesting aspects to Hooters’ presentation. The mega competition of crowning the annual Miss Hooters has been a great event with the winner being LeAngela Davis who will be the next Hooters personality of the coming year. She gets the prestige of being in all of Hooters campaign along with TV commercials and magazine covers. She also got the wholesome cash prize of $50,000. The 1st and 2nd runner ups were Rachel Mortensen from Phoenix and Asheligh Dunn from Newman, GA while the 3rd runner up was Susan Murray from Katy, Texas.
The winners were chosen from the 100 Hooters Girls representative from across the world in order to bring a full coverage of Hooters’ 455 locations from 29 countries. Hooters’ world expansion has given them a new look in their business which prompted them to expand their campaigns. The other awards included Miss Congeniality given to Jamaica Nicolson of South Africa with an award of $2,500 and Miss Photogenic given to Sam Arena of Cumberland, GA who received the prize of a prestigious photo shoot worth $5,000. The Miss Hooters World award was added in honor of Hooters international expansion which is being looked forward to for the next campaigns. This was given to Naty Gaviria representing Colombia. She received a cash prize of $5,000.
The mega pageant had evening gown rounds and swimsuit rounds along with a lot of questions and check points from the prestigious judges. The contest was about finding the right representative who fit the bill with beauty, personality and wit. According to the Pageant Director, Beth Taylor, LeAngela has been the perfect embodiment of all along with her outspoken nature and ability to light up a room.
The gorgeous beauty took the show by charm and became the number one choice as the representative of Miss Hooters. The judges’ panel included people like Chelsea Lately’s Chuy Bravo, E Entertainment host Michael Yo, reality TV star and ex Miss Hooter, Jerri Manthey, musician Ryan Cabrera, ex member of Pussycat Dolls Ashley Roberts and others.
