This basically turns into opposite consequences, where the Leptin level decreases and causes “leptin resistance”. “Leptin resistance” is a stage where your body tends to believe that you are starving, due to your low food intake. So your body automatically stops burning the fats you have and tend to hold onto it. Which means, fat burning is stopped. So, the desired weight loss is not going be achieved.
Keeping the phenomenon of “Leptin resistance” in mind, it is obvious that you have to eat properly, no matter you want to gain or lose weight. There are a lot of dietary plans which would help you to maintain a constant and perfect weight along with attractive body shape. There are “1000 calories diets”, “Paleolithic or caveman diet”, “Weight loss programs” etc. to help you out with your weight loss goals. Other than having a proper diet, you can also maintain proper exercise every day. This helps to burn much fats and calories which in turns doesn’t affect much when your food intake becomes slightly higher than usual.
The most important thing that should be kept in mind that, if you want to lose weight, you have to be persistent. If you want to lose weight fast, then you have to be more persistent and patient. Remember, the fastest process of weight loss also takes time. If you maintain proper diet along with effective exercises on a daily basis, you would be able to lose 2-3 pounds a week.
