Facing Our Moments Together Bladder Campaign
Bladder problems can do a lot of damage if you don’t treat it on time. However, most people are unaware that they have bladder problems because they never really pay attention to what their body is signaling.
Many women across the globe have bladder problems which could be because of the hectic lifestyle they live in.
Women in cities have to handle their families as well as their professional life and therefore they have very little time left out for themselves where they can think about what’s wrong with their body. Hence, many bladder issues develop into larger problems over a period of time.
However, health companies like Medtronic is now trying to promote more about bladder problems in women because they want to spread the awareness among the people that bladder problems can have a huge impact on the lives of women across the globe. In the United States it was found that there are 33 million women patients suffering from bladder control problems and overactive bladder also known as OAB.
The bladder problems today have developed from a minor problem but because of carelessness it develops into a bigger health concern. Hence, many women health advocacy groups now believe that the best way to curb bladder problems in women is to educate them about why they are suffering from such bladder issues.
Hence, Medtronic along with other women health groups like Accidental Sisterhood Foundation and Women’s Health Foundation have come up with a bladder health awareness month where they will come up with various campaigns against bladder issues in women. The campaign is known as Facing Our Moments Together and it will be aimed at providing information to the women about their bladder problems and how they can eliminate those problems. The campaign brings together some of the top urologists and doctors from all different parts of United States where they can interact and discuss bladder issues with women who are suffering from it. The event is open for all and therefore women who have bladder issues can also visit the campaign and discuss on how they can get their bladder problems solved.
