10 Ways To Makeover Your Beauty Routine
Beauty is just not skin deep. It needs a proper routine. We are so impressed when we see actors and other personalities well groomed and dressed up perfectly in public.We know this , yet when it come to routine life we generally ignore our appearance and looks and hence land up having puffy faces, acnes, pimples, dark circles, blemishes, pigmentation and what not. Then we spend a big portion of money in correcting these issues by cosmetic beauty products.

1.Awareness of skin types
Our skin is so tender especially on the face. We need to cleanse them well daily. A beautiful skin needs to be taken care of and so is the awareness of our skin types. There are different types of skin types like normal, oily and dry. Once we know what our skin type is we can actually set a routine for beauty makeover.
The body is exposed to so many chemicals and pollutants everyday that they get accumulated on the skin and can bring in bacteria and other germs which will harm the skin. The most important activity is to cleanse the skin well to remove these micro organisms.
Use an herbal or Ph natural cleanser to wash. As far as can try to avoid using soap as these destroy the acid mantle in our skin which are very important and leads to dryness. Still avoid using too much of long hot shower , though they may be very soothing and comforting using hot water regularly can let go the natural oils in our body and leading to premature ageing, dryness and that youthful skin. Always dab your skin with a soft towel or muslin cloth rather than rub.

Ignorance is bliss and when we use products with harmful chemicals we are just harming our skin and exposing it to these chemicals which in turn through our pores enter our blood stream causing dryness, wrinkles and premature ageing. We need to be aware of the harm that chemical products do to our skin and pores. Today people are aware of these and we find natural or organic beauty and cosmetic products are gaining popularity. So don’t just go by brand name and the celebrity endorser, rather pay attention to the components and as far as possible go green and buy chemical free products.
4.Daily dose Moisturizer and SPF
Many of us still feel that moisturisers are not a necessity, but they are mistaken, a daily dose of moisturisers is required for every skin type. So invest in some good moisturiser that suits your skin type and get into the habit of daily moisturising your skin and exfoliate the skin. It protects the skin from dryness and makes it more firms. Another important factor is the use of SPF daily. We all need to wear a minimum of 15 SPF factor to protect us from UV rays of the sun which harms our body and causes premature ageing or even skin cancer if exposed more. We don’t need to wait for summer to bring out our sunscreen, we need to protect our skin always so ensure we have a daily dose of SPF and moisturiser and make it a routine habit.
5.Be hydrated always
Dehydration is the loss of water in our body which again leads to dryness not only to dry skin but all skin types. The body needs to be supple and so keep yourself hydrated by having enough water all through the day. Drinking 8-10 glasses of water daily is essential. Water does help to bring back radiance as all the toxins are washed off our body.
6.Remove your makeup before sleep
Everyday remove your makeup in the night before sleep or else it might just block your pores. It is advisable to wash your face at least twice in a day and more importantly in the night before sleep if you have used make up. Too much of cleaning and washing is also not very good. Apply a good moisturiser after wash.
7.Get good Sleep
Getting sleep is important in our beauty routine. It’s just not tell a tale or a myth but it is one of the mantra to be taken care of in the beauty makeover routine. The British Medical Journal has found that those who have a good night sleep daily (8 hours) are more attractive. Simple reason having a sound sleep gives rest to the entire system and increases the secretion of the growth of Human hormones required for our cells. A minimum of 6-8 hours of sleep is very important.
8.Stop bad habits
Bad habits are difficult to do away with but for our good and if we need a good attractive skin we should try and follow some good vices and stop to bad habits. We all are very much aware of the harm caused by smoking and consumption of alcohol, just say no these. Even we need to keep a tab on what we have every day. Avoid too much of fat, sugar, salt laden food, beverages and finally junk food. These do more harm and good to us. Eat and drink healthy and feel Healthy.
9.Go in for complete makeovers once in a while
Change and experiment with your look sometimes, you don’t do it every day. We need to take such risks once in a while. We all get bored of the same mundane routine life, spice it up a bit go for a complete makeover. Have a good hair cut, if long then go for a short trendy one, colour or simple streak your hair, Revamp your wardrobe , change your makeup style with some new colours that suit your skin tone. 10.Discard old stuff
Old is gold, but this statement does not go well with beauty and cosmetic products. Simply because every product has a shelf life and we generally tend to pile up all our cosmetics not letting go anything just because of sentimental values or the favourite shade or brand. But ultimately we use stuff which has expired and this can cause harm to our skin and can result in reactions, rashes, allergies. Best advice discard and throw old stuff and invest in natural, organic or herbal products.
